| Hide the Rum... Here come the Pyrates! Starting at 6 pm on Saturday, April 19, 2008 pyrates from near and far will be fixin to raid and plunder the the public houses in what was once the rowdy privateer hangout in the bawdy port of Fells Point in Baltimore, Maryland. Locals will shudder in fear as they shut their windows, lock their doors, and hide from the piratical antics of the evening's festivities, but there is nowhere left to hide... the raid has been extended to be an all-day pyrate extravaganza! |

| There will be merchants, street performers, children's activities, living history exhibits, and swordplay within the heart of Fells Point located in Broadway Square (next to the water, easily accessible via Baltimore's Water Taxi service). This year's event commemorates the 4th Annual Baltimore Pyrate Invasion. So shake a peg leg and be prepared to join the invasion if you dare... if this is your first year, we promise you will be HOOKED! Be ready to show off your pyrate finery, dust off your tankards, and stick a fresh feather in your tricorn, and be prepared to invade.... Need to know how to get to Fells Point?
